Who we are, and who answers for your information

Avenor Innovations Inc., Lac-Beauport, Québec, Canada.

The person responsible for the protection of personal information is Raphaël Dionne, founder, reachable at [email protected]. Every question or request about your information goes through that address.

02

What we collect

Only what you give us yourself, in three places.

The contact form: first name, last name, email, company, subject and message.

The AI Diagnostic tool: your answers to the questionnaire. Your name, email and company are added only if you choose to receive the report by email.

An email you send us: its content.

No account to create. No phone number is requested. We do not ask for any sensitive information, and we ask you not to write any into the form.

03

What it is used for

To answer your request, produce your diagnostic and follow up on our exchanges. Nothing else.

Commercial communications are sent only if you tick the box provided for that purpose, which is separate, optional and never pre-ticked. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

04

The AI Diagnostic tool

Your answers are sent to an artificial intelligence provider that writes the summary. They are not used to train any model.

A notice reaches us when your report appears, with your answers, even if you never leave your email. That is how we know the tool is being used and for what. You remain anonymous in that case.

Your report gets a permanent address, of the form avenorinnovations.com/en/diagnostic/r/ followed by a random code. Anyone with that address can open the report, with no email or form: share it only with the people who need to see it. The report stays there for twenty-four months, then the address stops working. If you use "Share this report", the recipient's address is used for that send only.

The diagnostic counts its own steps, such as a question validated, a report shown or an email left, to see where people drop off. This count uses no cookie and no third party: a random identifier, kept in the tab and erased when it closes, links the steps of one journey. No IP address, no answer text and no name is attached to it.

The document try ("Paste a typical email, or drop a quote") works differently: the text you paste or the file you drop is first read and anonymized in your browser (names, emails, phone numbers, long numbers, addresses, postal codes and web addresses replaced with brackets), you see and fix what would be sent, and only that anonymized text, at most 6,000 characters, is sent to the artificial intelligence provider for that one reading. It is kept neither by us nor by the provider, and is not used to train any model; we only keep the number of tokens used. The result stays on screen and is not saved. Do not drop a document you would not be allowed to show an advisor.

No decision about you is made by automated means. The report suggests leads, it decides nothing.

05

Who receives it, and where

We rely on four providers, all located outside Québec. They process your information on our behalf, under their contractual commitments, and only for the task listed.

This communication is covered by a privacy impact assessment adopted on 9 August 2026. It is available on request.

ProviderWhat it receivesWhere
AnthropicYour answers to the questionnaire, to write the text of the reportUnited States
ResendName, email, company and report content, to deliver the emailUnited States
CloudflareWebsite hosting and technical access logsGlobal network
Cal.comYour IP address, only if you open the booking toolOutside Québec
Your browser vendorThe sound of your voice, only if you use the Dictate button on a text fieldDepends on the browser

The last row deserves a clarification, because it does not work like the others. The Dictate button, offered on desktop next to long text fields, relies on the speech recognition built into your browser. In several browsers, including Chrome, the audio is sent to the browser vendor to be transcribed. That transfer happens between your device and your browser: the audio never passes through our servers, we do not receive it and we do not record it. We only receive the text you then choose to send. The button appears only if your browser offers the feature, it never starts on its own, and the microphone is activated only after your explicit permission. On phones we show no button at all: your keyboard's dictation already does the job, with nothing for us to add.

06

How long we keep it

Twenty-four months from our last exchange, then deletion. Sooner if you ask.

07

Your rights

You may at any time request:

access to your information; its correction if it is inaccurate; its deletion; the withdrawal of your consent; and its portability, meaning to receive it in a structured, commonly used technological format.

Write to [email protected]. We answer within thirty days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may take the matter to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
